Interesting Katrina comments

"You simply get chills every time you see these poor individuals, as Jack Cafferty just pointed out, so tragically, so many of these people, almost all of them that we see, are so poor and they are so black, and this is going to raise lots of questions for people who are watching this story unfold." -- CNN's Wolf Blitzer

"What I'm hearing, which is sort of scary, is they all want to stay in Texas. Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality. And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this is working very well for them." -- Barbara Bush, after touring the Astrodome complex in Houston

"You know, some people are stealing and they're making a big deal out of it. Oh, they're stealing 20 pair of jeans or they're stealing television sets. Who cares? They're not going to go too far with it. Maybe those people are so poor, some of the people who do that they're so poor they've never touched anything in their lives. Let them touch those things for once." -- Celine Dion

"I open the television, there's people still there waiting to be rescued and for me it's not acceptable." -- Celine Dion

Weekend!

I've spent the entire day watching Hurricane Katrina coverage. I've donated a little money to the Red Cross. There's nothing else for me to do except take out a small loan for gas money, pick up the girlfriend and a shitload of booze, and take off on a three-day drinking binge.

Katrina victims receive support from around the world

Germany said it would offer aid or money if requested by Washington.

Sri Lanka, still recovering from the tsunami disaster, pledged $25,000 to the American Red Cross.

Australia said it would donate $7.7 million immediately to the American Red Cross.

Japan donated $200,000 to the Red Cross and would also provide up to $300,000 in aid supplies.

The Vatican sent a telegram to say that Pope Benedict XVI was "deeply saddened" by the disaster and that he was praying for the victims and rescuers.

C'mon Pope - open up the wallet a little! These victims already got Britney Spears praying for them.

Did I ever tell you I visited Ohio a few months ago?

Ohio High School Has 64 Pregnant Students

Who's The Homosexual

In this scene from "Who's The Boss," Jonathan is telling Tony how much he loves to chase the women.

"I love to flirt, when I'm looking in some girl's eyes and I'm being real cute...There's nothing like the thrill of the chase...chicks, babes, skirts, dolls, tomatoes, boy toys."

"Who do you think you're fooling, Jonathan? " laughed Tony. "I see you checking out my ass every chance you get."

Never fear, Katrina victims

Britney Spears is praying for you.

In a posting on her Web site, the 23-year-old pop star writes that her "thoughts and prayers go out to everyone" in the states along the devastated Gulf Coast.

"All of my family members there are safe and thank you to all my fans for your concern," says Spears.

She then shows a cute picture of her dog, Bit Bit.

I wear the same sandals everytime I go to the lake. That has resulted in, what appears to be, permanent tanlines.
