Why did anyone name their band Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Guns 'N Roses, Eagles or anything else, when this name was still available at the time.

dude, as much as you love beer you shoudl start hashing. it's a drinking club that pretends it's a running club.
i can't decide what i like more. the name in general? or the fact that they are "defenders of hate." we need more defenders of emotion around. the boy band version could be, i dunno, "defenders of 'i like her' like her."
my husband and his brother and i used to try to come up with band names, we were never so clever. the best we came up with were "i'm gay," (just so the d.j.'s would have to say it all the time) and "chicks dig tony."
we bow to the masters.
