TSA to Allow Scissors, Tools on Planes
Finally! Now I can do all things I used to do with scissors on a plane:
Cut my hair
Make paper dolls
Cut letters out of magazines for ransom notes
Make my own valentines
Stab people

Is there that big of a demand for this?

Wirthy, son, you need Christ in your life.
He doesn't need Christ...he needs someone to get him some whiskey STAT!!!!!!!!
Yeah, real reassuring to know that sharp objects are allowed on the plane, but you can't take a lighter or matches.
Get this. A few years back we were at Newark Airport getting ready to fly to New Orleans. The kid in front of us (he was probably 21 or so) gets stopped by the metal detector and they ask him whats in his pockets. He takes out a butter knife. Dude had a butter knife in his pocket. So my husband had to ask him why exactly he had a butter knife in his pocket. He says that he was buttering his bagel and he just forgot about it.
No one that stupid should be allowed to bring anything remotely sharp onto a plane. Although he was probably just as dangerous without the knife.
my purse was searched monday night because of my IPOD hookup for my car, you know the thing that fits into the cigarette lighter....hmmm.... the two security people were talking back and forth (as if i wasnt there) and pointing to their eyes, like what? I'm gonna poke someone's eye out with it? I think a pen would be better for that...
