1955 - Mike Reno, lead singer of Loverboy, was born.

I was amused to read on his Wikipedia page that, in a late 90's interview, he attributed the decline of Loverboy to the rise of grunge bands such as Nirvana. Yeah, Loverboy was huge right up until 1991. I don't recall getting into too many Nirvana vs. Loverboy conversations.


1991 - Steve Clark, Def Leppard guitarist, died; likely killed by Nirvana.
