Today in history

1973 - Stevie Wonder came close to losing his life, following a freak auto accident. He probably shouldn't have been driving anyway.

1976 - Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster) was born.

1999 - "The Sixth Sense," opened starring Bruce Willis as a child psychologist and Haley Joel Osment as an 8-year-old who is visited by ghosts. Get this: at the end of the movie, it is revealed that Bruce Willis is actually dead.

Today is a sad day in television history. In 1993, ABC aired the final episode of "Perfect Strangers." And in 1998, the last episode of Magic Johnson's talk show, "The Magic Hour," aired. It lasted all of eight weeks.
